Business Day in Singapore – Hessen Delegation meets Singaporean Enterprises

On behalf of the German State of Hessen and Hessen Trade & Invest, the Singaporean-German Chamber of Industry and Commerce (SGC) organized the Hessen Business Day & Luncheon on Monday, 23 April 2018. Interested Singaporean companies and investors were presented with insights about the Hessian investment market and the benefits of expanding their business activities to Hessen, Germany.

Hessian Minister of Economic Affairs Tarek Al-Wazir opened the new Hessen representative office in Singapore in November 2017. The goal of the new representative office is to promote interactive business contacts between both countries. Therefore, the needs of small and medium-sized enterprises should be focused.

Julian Doelfs, a profound expert of Hessian-Asian economic relations, could be won as the chief representative of the Hessian government at the Singaporean-German Chamber of Industry & Commerce. It will be his task to support Hessian companies on the way to Singapore and to inform Singaporean companies that are looking to Germany about the advantages of working with business partners in Hessen.
