Network of Cooperative Appointees and Representative Offices

The Ministry of Economics, Energy, Transport and Regional Development of the State of Hessen promotes the economy of Hessen with a network of cooperative appointees and representative offices abroad in the process of international economic co-operations. At the center are needs of small and medium-sized businesses during market entrance and during the development of expanding markets abroad.

Within the framework of local marketing, the offices abroad offer their services as a point of contact to international companies and institutions which are looking for partners in Hessen and desire to intensify cooperation.

The cooperation facilities of Hessen abroad provide information about the economic location Hessen, its strengths and development potentials; they offer contact to companies, economic organizations, the government, and administration.

Fostering Hessen’s Economic Development

The foreign offices fulfill the important task of promoting target markets in Hessen’s partner regions and within Hessen’s economic development strategies. They also focus on assisting Hessen companies to enter emerging markets with potentially interesting economic opportunities.
