Since 2003, the Hessen-China Network has been supporting its members by facilitating and establishing contacts on the Chinese economic market. The Hessen-China Network is a merger of companies, institutions, and universities. The objective is to promote and strengthen the economic, cultural, and scientific collaboration between Germany, Europe, and China. The Network's work is not commercial.
One of the main tasks of the Network is the facilitation of contacts for its members on the Chinese market. The companies and institutions active in the Hessen-China Network benefit mutually through the exchange of experiences and personal contacts, gain access to new markets, and arrange joint research activities.
At the same time, a rapid incoming trend developed across Germany. In recent years, this trend has also become an essential part of the work performed by the Hessen-China Network. Year after year, the Network greets the Chinese delegations in Germany, Hessen, and Kassel, and also oversees Chinese participations in German companies. In collaboration with Hessen Trade & Invest GmbH and the representatives of the Northern Hessian regional and municipal business development initiatives, the aim is to intensify the support of inbound activities in the future.
To achieve this, the Hessen-China Network conducted the 1st Chinese-German Investor Conference in Kassel at the end of October in order to draw the attention of possible Chinese direct investments to the Northern Hessian region and the state of Hessen. At the same time, the Investor Conference informed German companies about possible investments in China.
