Part four of our series featuring “Recent foreign investments” in Hessen:
IDI Gazeley, USA

Global logistics developer IDI Gazeley from the USA has built a seventh warehouse in the Kassel Freight Village. In January 2015, logistics unit 7 was completed in the Magna Park Kassel. The 25,000 square meter building is so large that the inside could easily accommodate three soccer fields. With the “flagship distribution park of Germany”, project developer IDI Gazeley built the largest Magna Park of its kind on the European continent in northern Hessen.

At the Magna Park, to date, more than 220,000 square meters of leased space have already been allotted to customers like Volkswagen AG, Zufall logistics group, SMA and Rudolph Logistik. Owing to its central location in the middle of Germany and Europe, modern distribution centers in the Magna Park Kassel are in great demand. Direct access to the large north-south and east-west axes through motorways 7 and 44 make it possible to reach any German city within five hours.
